Take your oboe playing to the next level with the Yamaha YOB-541MTAL Allegro Oboe. Designed for advancing musicians and serious performers, the Allegro combines professional-inspired features with Yamaha's renowned craftsmanship, delivering the rich tone, precise response, and dependable performance that dedicated oboists demand.

Whether you're performing in a concert band, orchestra, chamber ensemble, or solo setting, the YOB-541MTAL provides the tonal flexibility, control, and reliability you need to perform with confidence.

Rich, Expressive Tone with Innovative Duet+ Technology

At the heart of the YOB-541MTAL is its grenadilla wood body with Yamaha's innovative Duet+ upper joint. This unique design combines the natural tonal characteristics of grenadilla wood with a protective ABS resin lining, helping maintain consistent performance while reducing the risk of cracking caused by moisture and environmental changes.

The American-style bore is designed to provide a focused, expressive sound with excellent projection and tonal flexibility. Combined with a grenadilla lower joint and bell, the Allegro offers the warmth, depth, and responsiveness that advancing oboists need to develop their individual musical voice.

Advanced Keywork for Greater Musical Expression

The YOB-541MTAL features a modified Conservatoire key system with an expanded selection of auxiliary and trill keys, giving musicians the flexibility needed to navigate increasingly demanding repertoire.

Professional-inspired features include a third octave key, left-hand F key, forked F resonance key, D ring key, and Banana key. These additions provide greater fingering versatility and improved control throughout the instrument's range.

A low Bb resonance vent further enhances the instrument's response, helping players achieve a balanced and consistent sound.

Precision Craftsmanship. Comfortable Performance.

Yamaha understands that a great oboe needs to feel as good as it sounds. The YOB-541MTAL features silver-plated nickel silver keys designed for smooth, responsive action and dependable performance.

The vertically adjustable thumb rest with neck strap ring allows musicians to customize their playing position for improved comfort during extended rehearsals and performances. An all-cork pad design provides reliable sealing while helping reduce unwanted key noise.

Distinctive gold-plated key posts give the Allegro an elegant appearance that sets it apart from other Yamaha oboes. Combined with durable metal tenon fittings and Yamaha's precision engineering, this instrument offers an outstanding balance of beauty, performance, and reliability.
