Yamaha YDP-146R ARIUS Digital Piano – Dark Rosewood

Authentic Piano Feel. Beautiful Sound. Legendary Yamaha Quality.

Bring the beauty and expression of a grand piano into your home with the Yamaha YDP-146R ARIUS Digital Piano. Designed for beginning pianists, advancing students, and experienced musicians alike, the ARIUS combines Yamaha's renowned piano craftsmanship with modern digital technology, delivering an authentic playing experience in an elegant, space-saving design.

Featuring an 88-key weighted keyboard, the rich sound of Yamaha's flagship CFX concert grand piano, and a beautiful dark rosewood finish, the YDP-146R is an outstanding choice for lessons, daily practice, and musical enjoyment at home.

Experience the Sound of a Yamaha Concert Grand

At the heart of the YDP-146R is Yamaha's CFX Concert Grand Piano Voice, carefully sampled from Yamaha's renowned flagship concert grand piano. This exceptional sound delivers the rich, expressive tone, dynamic range, and clarity that musicians expect from a quality acoustic piano.

Yamaha's Virtual Resonance Modeling Lite (VRM Lite) technology recreates the complex resonance of an acoustic grand piano, adding depth and realism to every performance. With 192-note polyphony, even demanding musical passages sound full and natural.

Authentic Piano Touch for Developing Musicians

The YDP-146R features Yamaha's 88-key Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard, designed to reproduce the natural feel of an acoustic piano. The keys provide a heavier touch in the lower register and a lighter response in the upper register, helping students develop proper technique and finger strength.

Adjustable touch sensitivity allows musicians to customize the keyboard's response to their playing style, while matte black keytops provide a comfortable playing surface.

A traditional three-pedal system includes damper, sostenuto, and soft pedals, with half-pedaling capability for greater control over sustain and musical expression.

Modern Technology for Practice and Creativity

The Yamaha YDP-146R combines traditional piano performance with convenient digital features that make learning and practicing more enjoyable. With 10 built-in instrument voices, musicians can explore sounds ranging from concert grand piano to electric piano, organ, vibraphone, and strings.

Built-in Bluetooth Audio and MIDI connectivity allows you to stream music, play along with your favorite songs, and connect with compatible learning applications. The piano also supports Yamaha's Smart Pianist app, providing convenient access to instrument settings and practice features from a compatible smart device.

With 50 classical piano selections, 303 lesson songs, a built-in metronome, and recording capabilities, the ARIUS provides valuable tools for students and teachers alike.

Elegant Design. Everyday Convenience.

Finished in beautiful dark rosewood, the YDP-146R brings the classic appearance of an upright piano into your home without the maintenance requirements of an acoustic instrument. Its refined cabinet design, sliding key cover, and integrated music rest make it an attractive addition to living rooms, music rooms, and teaching spaces.

A built-in stereo speaker system delivers clear, balanced sound, while dual headphone connections allow for quiet practice or teacher-student sessions without disturbing others. Best of all, the YDP-146R never requires tuning, making it a convenient and dependable choice for everyday playing.
