Yamaha YDP-105R ARIUS Digital Piano – Dark Rosewood

Authentic Piano Feel. Beautiful Sound. Legendary Yamaha Quality.

Bring the joy of music into your home with the Yamaha YDP-105R ARIUS Digital Piano. Designed for beginning pianists, developing students, and families looking for a quality home instrument, the ARIUS combines Yamaha's renowned piano craftsmanship with modern digital convenience. Featuring an authentic weighted keyboard, beautiful grand piano sound, and an elegant dark rosewood cabinet, the YDP-105R delivers an inspiring playing experience at an exceptional value.

Whether you're starting your first piano lessons, returning to music after some time away, or simply looking for a dependable instrument for everyday enjoyment, the YDP-105R provides the sound, feel, and reliability you need to make music with confidence.

Beautiful Grand Piano Sound for Every Performance

At the heart of the YDP-105R is Yamaha's AWM Stereo Sampling technology, designed to reproduce the rich, expressive sound of an acoustic grand piano. Carefully recorded piano samples deliver a balanced, natural tone throughout the keyboard, allowing musicians to enjoy everything from delicate melodies to powerful chords.

Yamaha's Damper Resonance technology recreates the natural resonance produced when the sustain pedal is used on an acoustic piano, adding depth and realism to your performance. With 64-note polyphony, the YDP-105R provides dependable sound reproduction for lessons, practice, and everyday playing.

Authentic Piano Touch for Developing Musicians

The YDP-105R features Yamaha's 88-key Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard, designed to reproduce the natural feel of an acoustic piano. The keys have a heavier touch in the lower register and gradually become lighter toward the upper register, helping students develop proper technique, finger strength, and expressive control.

Adjustable touch sensitivity allows players to customize the keyboard's response to their playing style, while matte black keytops provide a comfortable playing surface.

A traditional three-pedal system includes damper, sostenuto, and soft pedals. The damper pedal also supports half-pedaling, allowing musicians to control sustain with greater precision and develop expressive techniques used on acoustic pianos.

Smart Features That Make Learning More Enjoyable

The Yamaha YDP-105R offers convenient digital features that make practicing and learning more enjoyable. With 10 built-in instrument voices, musicians can explore a variety of sounds, including grand piano, electric piano, organ, harpsichord, vibraphone, and strings.

Compatibility with Yamaha's Smart Pianist app allows players to access instrument settings, select sounds, and explore additional learning features using a compatible smartphone or tablet. A wired connection is required.

The built-in metronome helps students develop timing and rhythm, while Duo Mode divides the keyboard into two matching ranges, making it easier for teachers and students to practice together.

Elegant Design. Everyday Convenience.

Finished in beautiful dark rosewood, the YDP-105R brings the timeless appearance of a traditional piano into your home. Its elegant cabinet design, sliding key cover, and integrated music rest make it an attractive addition to living rooms, music rooms, and teaching spaces.

A built-in stereo speaker system delivers clear, balanced sound, while two headphone connections allow for quiet practice or convenient teacher-student sessions. Unlike an acoustic piano, the YDP-105R never requires tuning, making it an excellent choice for busy families and everyday musicians.
