Vandoren LC57DP M|O Glided Lig for Alto Sax w/ Plastic Cap

Vandoren LC57DP M|O Alto Saxophone Ligature with Plastic Cap – Gilded Finish

The Vandoren M|O ligature brings together two Vandoren favorites: the lightweight construction of the legendary Masters ligature and the quick, efficient tightening of the Optimum. Its inverted design touches the reed at only two small contact points, so your reed vibrates freely for a full, resonant sound and crisp, clean articulation. A unique double-track screw tightens the ligature symmetrically, holding your reed evenly and securely every time. Lightweight, easy to set up, and finished in an attractive gilded finish that complements a lacquered saxophone, the M|O is an excellent upgrade from a stock ligature for alto saxophonists of every level. A plastic cap is included to protect your reed and mouthpiece.

Why Saxophonists Choose the M|O Ligature

The M|O delivers much of the sound quality of Vandoren's higher-end ligatures in a simple, lightweight design that's easy on your budget. Its secure, minimal-contact grip helps your reed respond quickly and consistently, giving you a focused tone and clean articulation with less effort. It's quick to set up, which makes it ideal for students, and reliable enough for advanced players. Pair it with a Vandoren alto saxophone mouthpiece, such as the AL3 Optimum or AP3 Profile, and your favorite reeds for a complete setup.
