True 2-Way Humidity Control

Unlike traditional humidifiers that only add moisture, Boveda adds or absorbs moisture as needed to hold your case at 49% relative humidity. Inside each pack, a natural salt-and-water solution sits behind a special membrane that lets only pure water vapor pass through, so there's nothing to drip, spill, or overdo.

The included fabric holder keeps the pack secure in your case and acts as an extra barrier for added peace of mind. Just place the pack in the holder, put it in your case, and keep the case closed. When the pack feels stiff, it's time for a refill.

Sized for Smaller Instruments

The Small Starter Kit is the right fit for violin, viola, ukulele, mandolin, clarinet, oboe, and electric guitar or bass cases. For acoustic guitars, cellos, and other larger instruments, ask us about the Large Starter Kit.
