Yamaha BB434RM 4-String; bolt-on neck, alder body, maple/mahogany 5-piece neck, YGD pickups; Red Metallic

Yamaha BB434 4-String Electric Bass - Red Metallic

Legendary BB Tone. Classic Style. Built to Play.

The Yamaha BB series has been a favorite of working bassists for more than 40 years, and the BB434 carries that legacy forward. It pairs a solid alder body and 5-piece maple/mahogany neck with Alnico V pickups for a punchy, focused tone that sits perfectly in a mix.

In Red Metallic, it's a classic-looking bass with modern construction and playability.

The Six-Bolt Difference

The BB434 uses Yamaha's six-bolt miter neck joint, which locks the neck tightly to the body for better sustain, resonance, and tone transfer. It's a feature you'll usually find on much more expensive basses.

Classic P/J Tone

YGD Alnico V pickups, a split single-coil in the neck and a single-coil at the bridge, give you warm P-style punch and J-style definition. Two volume controls and a master tone keep things simple. The Vintage Plus Light bridge can be strung through the body or top-loaded, and lightweight open-gear tuners help with balance.
