Ibanez GSR206TGF Gio Series 6 string Electric Bass

Ibanez Gio GSR206 6-String Electric Bass - Transparent Gray Flat

Six Strings. Endless Range. An Affordable Way to Explore.

Ready to expand your range? The Ibanez Gio GSR206 is one of the most affordable ways to step into the world of 6-string bass. With a low B and a high C, it opens up deeper lows, chordal playing, and solo lines that just aren't possible on a 4-string.

The comfortable SR-style body and Ibanez's easy-playing neck make the jump to six strings feel natural, and the Transparent Gray Flat finish gives it a sleek, modern look.

Powerful Humbucker Tone

Two Dynamix H humbuckers deliver a rich, powerful sound, and the active Phat II EQ adds extra low-end punch when you need it. Two volume controls and a tone knob let you shape your sound.

Built for Six Strings

The maple neck provides stability and a bright tone, and the jatoba fretboard gives a rich midrange and crisp highs. A 16.5mm string spacing keeps the neck manageable, and the six-string bridge offers fully adjustable intonation.
