Ibanez SR500AMHL SR Standard 4str Electric Bass

Ibanez SR500A SR Standard Electric Bass - Mahogany Brown Burst Low Gloss

Bartolini Tone. Roasted Maple Neck. Serious Step-Up Bass.

The Ibanez SR500A is a serious step-up bass for players ready for pro-level tone and feel. It pairs Bartolini BH2 pickups with a powerful 3-band EQ, a roasted maple/walnut neck, and a lightweight okoume body, all in a warm Mahogany Brown Burst Low Gloss finish.

It's an outstanding upgrade from a beginner bass and a gig-ready instrument for working players.

Bartolini Pickups and 3-Band EQ

Dual-coil Bartolini BH2 pickups deliver tight lows, punchy mids, and even string-to-string response. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ has a 3-way mid frequency switch (250, 450, or 700 Hz) and an EQ bypass switch for passive operation.

Stable, Fast, Comfortable

The 5-piece roasted maple/walnut neck is heat-treated for stability and resistance to humidity and temperature changes, a big plus in western Pennsylvania. The rosewood fretboard with abalone oval inlays and 24 medium frets offers a balanced tone with focused mids. The MR5S bridge lets you adjust string spacing to suit your playing.
